Giving your Accountant Access to QuickBooks
If you use QuickBooks Online, you can easily grant access to your accountant, allowing them to efficiently review your books, make necessary corrections, and collaborate with you on any financial matters.
Accountant users enjoy additional privileges, such as the ability to undo entire reconciliations, reclassify transactions, and write off invoices. Plus, regular accountant users don't count toward your usage limit, making it a hassle-free solution for managing your finances.

How to add Sonny Peak CPA, LLC as your accountant:
- Sign in to QuickBooks Online as a primary admin.
Select Settings ⚙, then select Manage users.
Select the Accountants or Accounting firms tab.
Enter our email address, sonny@sonnypeakcpa.com, then select Invite.
What happens next:
- We will receive an email about the invitation. You'll know we've accepted your request when the status on the Manage users page changes from Invited to Active.
Removing an accountant:
Accountants can't remove other accountants or themselves from the Manage users page. If you no longer want an accountant to access your books, here's how to remove them.
- Sign in to QuickBooks Online as a primary admin.
- Go to Settings ⚙, then select Manage users.
- Select the Accountants or Accounting firms tab.
- Find the accountant you want to remove.
- From the Action column, select Delete.
- Select Delete.
